My usual outfit for autumn and winter is tan boots over skinnies. However, my boots are bagging at the ankle so they now hit around mid-calf and are not as flattering as I think they could be.
I'm considering getting something like these www.next.co.uk/g9268s6 instead, anticipating that they would be just as versatile as knee high boots. I would then get something like this www.next.co.uk/x543328s1#699892x54 as an alternative option.
However, there is a bit of me that thinks I would regret not having long boots, and would sort of love these, although they are very expensive.

I don't feel like I can wear motorcycle boots because I have bigger legs but they do have shape to them, and that height seems to either make it look like my calves are spilling out, or that my legs are two thick tree trunks.
Any suggestions?
