And I'm breastfeeding! DS will be 9 months so its not a huuuuge issue but I still need fairly easy access (I may just disappear to a bedroom in the house rather thsn try and be discrete). I was thinking of a pretty dress with a biker-ish jacket but what to wear on my feet - boots? Its only my second night out since I had DS and will be my first since splitting withwith with OH of five years

Yes definitely boots, plus thermal tights and thermal vest. It may well be freezing.

Layers are your friend. I think a stretchy jersey dress in a jewel colour, wedge type ankle boots, biker jacket, cashmere scarf. But you will need a thermal vest and long john/tights!

Definitely something that you can pile up warm underwear underneath!
