Where can I buy silk T-shirts?

I wear suits for work, usually with a cotton crew-neck underneath. I wanted to look a bit more stylish at least some of the time, but don't want to wear collared shirts. I used to have a lovely silk top, T-shirt shaped, with buttons up the back, and I'd love a few more. Does anyone do them?

Pure Collection and uniqlo often do them.

Cos might have some. Reiss sometimes do them but they are expensive. My favourites are ancient Ted Baker ones and are actually supposed to be pyjama tops!

Watching this as I spent all S/S looking for a white silk t-shirt to no avail! I ended up with a few Boden Ravello tops and a white viscose mix t-shirt from Reiss.

Do you have a local tailoress who could copy your existing tops?

The Uniqlo one's in the right general area but looks a bit baggy: I want something fairly fitted to give a nice smooth line under a suit jacket. The Pure one is lovely and the colours are good, but at £80 I couldn't afford to buy enough of them! I might buy one for days when I need to look particularly smart.

No dressmakers, sadly. I've looked for one several times as it would be great to be able to get stuff altered (I'm short and curvy so have trouble getting stuff that fits me well).

Pure stuff is gorgeous. Magazines often have leaflets with 25% off so worth trying to catch one of those

French Connection are doing some at the moment I think.
