Wrap dress for autumn wedding

I need some help and inspiration.

I'm going to a wedding in October, and I'm still breastfeeding, so I think a wrap dress would work best for me. I just can't find any that don't look like workwear. I don't mind spending up to about £100, and I'd prefer something patterned in navy, yellows or neutral. I have a beautiful navy hat, so I'd like it to match. Anyone seen anything suitable?

Do you like the vintage look? There are tons of beautiful 50s style dresses on Amazon - sorry, on phone so can't link. Very classy for a wedding though!

This is the wrap dress selection from Boden - some are on sale.
I like the quality of their jersey.
Would any of them suit?

I looked at DvF first, but they are all £300+ Shock

I find it difficult to wear those - I think they look amazing, but I've shrunk to a 6-8, and I look a bit daft in dresses with full skirts right now. Annoying.

there's quite a bit about with button or zip fronts ATM, would you consider something like that?

MrsLettuce · 06/09/2014 16:44

For example, I quite like this although the pattern might be a bit much for some.

I love DvF wrap dresses. Their sale prices are not much over your budget OP.

callamia · 06/09/2014 16:51

Yes - tea dress style would work well too. I should have a look at NW3 shouldn't i? I'll have a look at DvF too.

I looked at Seraphine, and the dress I really liked was a bit spoiled for me by having been 'worn by Claire Sweeney'. It's not the greatest advertisement.

I think, and hope, Banana Republic has something suitable. I've ordered it, and if it works out, I'll be delighted. Thank you all for your ideas - I've got a lovely long wishlist now too.

That's Claire Sweeney told! Wink
