Has anybody tried this and what did you think? I guess half the fun is trying different lippies on , but I'm short on time . Were you happy with the colour and I read somewhere that you need to get the foundation too , although I'm hoping I'm mistaken Smile

I have bought a couple of the lipsticks - soft earth and loganberry. Am v pleased with the former and not yet decided on the latter. I haven't bought the foundation and don't intend to. I think if they are testing my skin without make-up on, the lipsticks should match my skin tone as long as i am wearing any foundation or bb cream that is a good match.

Isshoes what's your skin tone? Loganberry came up as a match for mine but when I tried it, I looked like a clown.

I was between cool vanilla and cool ivory.

The problem is they can only match you to the colours they have.

I was matched with the foundation. I am v pale- and even Calico was too dark/ pink toned.

I think they have 8 shades for foundation whereas B Brown has 24.

I suspect the lippies will be the same but I am using Romantic and Desire which I bought with a voucher discount and like them both ( but they have no staying power.)

I'm deeply beige or honey in their foundations and was looking for a natural shade, they suggested Ginger Rose and in the lipstick tube it looked kind of blah but on my lips it was like wow, completely made everything look fresh and put together...and they gave me a card with the other suggestions, needless to say I am tempted to buy some more..

There's more than 8 foundation shades. I can't remember exactly but I think it's 16. You don't need to buy the foundation either if you don't want to.

The way to choose a lipstick is to test a bit on the pad of your finger. If it looks 'right' then the colour will suit you. I never buy one that doesn't look good now after a friend showed me this tipSmile
