What to wear with pewter skinnys?

That's it really ! Just bought the boden super skinny pewter jeans, they are quite sparkly! Mainly for nights out/pub/dinner with friends. What shoes would you suggest and colour top?

Maybe something embellished but in a dressed down kind of sweatshirt way to counter the sparkly-ness?

Plum, aubergine or dusky pink. The 1st 2 are more dressy colours.

Thanks for the ideas! Like the black top from m&s, I love the boden sixties sling backs but £££££. I used to have T-bar heels few years back I may look for something along those lines but maybe grey/black. Trouble is I don't do high high heels as already 5,10 and begin to look giant like if they are to high!

I'd wear a slim fit grey cashmere cardi or a silky top or something in pink or damson.
