What wet weather/winter clothes do I actually NEED for DS??

Last winter he was in the pram, this year he's walking (is currently 18m) Made a few unnecessary buys last year so I'd like to avoid that this year.

Here's a list of what I think we need to buy but feel free to add/rubbish anything on the list! Recommendations of specific brands or shops also welcome!:

Wellies;
Warm/waterproof boots for snow;
All in one puddle/splash suit;
All in one warm snow suit;
Warm jacket;
(Hat & gloves obviously)

Unsure whether all in ones or separates are the way to go either. Definitely need a steer from some voices of experience!

I always went with ski wear so salopettes and a jacket rather than an all in one - saves the need for buying a snow suit and a warm jacket.

We've always had wellies and winter boots

Never bothered with splash suit - wellies are fine.

Hat and gloves yes.
