I know it's not summer anymore, but I really like these.

Thoughts on them?

Erm..

A bit very grannyish?

velourvoyageur · 02/09/2014 20:43

I have the urban outfitters version of these Grin I think mine are adorable. I think yours look like they'll last so much longer though. However......the big panel in the middle.....I think it might yes have crossed the line into grannyish.....

From the side they look really cute and sturdy as well. From the top I just don't like them.
And the price! Mine were £32, and that was just before summer started.

Not keen

peasandlove · 03/09/2014 08:20

far too unexciting for that kind of money. The look well made though. (and ugly)

FlossyMoo · 03/09/2014 08:23

My MIL has a pair and she's 74. Thats all I'm saying Smile

HappyGirlNow · 03/09/2014 08:25

If you're very young and very thin and very beautiful they could look cool.. If you're not you'll look like a granny..

velourvoyageur · 03/09/2014 18:34

I bet Topshop would start with that as a base and then add some sequinned ruffles on top, or something. You could try and customise it!

minkah · 03/09/2014 18:36

Very ££££. Could look great if you are slim, tanned, linen clad.

AlpacaYourThings · 03/09/2014 19:16
Grin

So a pretty unanimous, they are suitable for an OAP.

Well, I'm in my late 20's so maybe they aren't for me.

Sad

Too late anyway as they ate sold outGrin

polyhymnia · 03/09/2014 19:28

They could be described as delightfully retro I guess but you probably need to be very cool looking for them to come across that way rather than a touch frumpy.

AlpacaYourThings · 03/09/2014 19:33

I still love them

JennyOnTheBlocks · 03/09/2014 19:35

I love them and would wear them if I could spend that amount on shoes

velourvoyageur · 03/09/2014 20:39

Isn't it horribly frustrating though, when you wish they'd just made them a slight bit different? I do wonder if it was an actual choice they made or if they were just swept along with their artistic inspirations.....

noddyholder · 03/09/2014 20:50
