Going to a family wedding end of this month . I have brought this dress www.phase-eight.com/fcp/product/phase-eight/sale-dresses/rhiannon-paisley-dress/202568713 . What should I wear with it to cover up/ add abit of warmth ? Ideally low budget and not black as I am really pale . I have alreadybrought purple shoes .

Thanks

I don't normally go for pashminas but I think a bright blue one would look really nice. A big one with fringing if you can find one.

I was going to say a pashmina / wrap thing too

thanks for your replies, like the idea of a pashmina but don't know if it'd look a bit 'old lady shawl' on me. I'll try one on

I think they can look really frumpy with plain shift dresses, but a nice silky one would look fab with that dress.

I'd go for a jacket- a good pashmina one will cost as much as a jacket anyway! A cropped or slightly boxy jacket would look nice maybe?
