My hair is quite fine and straight and I'm wondering whether this would be any good. www.wen.co.uk/wen-uk-product-range/cucumber-aloe

Their trial size seems to be more expensive than the full size as you have to buy a whole set!

I've not tried this but I noticed a cleansing conditioner in Boots - www.boots.com/en/Grow-Gorgeous-11-in-1-Cleansing-Conditioner-190ml_1488458/

Blimey, 11-in-one! Wonder what the other 9 things are...

Ok, thanks, I might take the plunge!

I've tried the Grow Gorgeous one (and the 11 in one claim is a bit OTT as it basically separates out all the things good shampoo and conditioner might do into individual list items, eg, makes hair soft, makes hair shiny, makes hair manageable, good for scalp, etc. etc.). It's pretty good on my thick wavy hair and my scalp seems to like it, though I can't help feeling it's just the 21st century equivalent of Wash'n'Go. Take two bottles into the shower?

I don't like the sound of WEN because it contains silicones I think. Even if you like silicones on your hair, you don't need them on your scalp, and you want to be shampooing sometimes to avoid build-up. Perhaps I'm just too steeped in the curly girl method but to me a conditioner washing regime that includes silicones in the cleanser is a bit odd. Having said that they seem to have lots of devotees, and if it works it works! I seem to remember from when I looked into it a while ago that google produced some posts about hair loss, not sure what the deal is with that but it seemed to be a problem for some people so is worth keeping an eye on.

Actually just read the ingredients of the one you linked to and the only silicone I can detect at a glance is amodimethicone which isn't so prone to build up, so that may be better than I thought.
