I want a wavy bob

Not a frizz ball, which is what I tend to get if I let my hear to its own devices. How do I get one? It has to be an easy method as I'm not very dexterous plus never have time in the mornings.

Thanks!

I do the curly girl method for wavy hair. In my case, this means that I use a sulphate-free shampoo, and a silicone free conditioner (I use the Body Shop rainforest range). I comb tangles out in the shower. After I have rinsed out the conditioner, I put a dollop of Umberto Giannini curl gel on my soaking wet hair. I tip my head upside down and scrunch my hair. Then (and this step makes a huge difference) I plop my hair in a microfibre towel. If you google with the key words "plopping wavy hair " you should find instructions. After half an hour or so I take off the towel and leave it to air dry. When it is dry, I straighten my fringe, and the first inch or two of hair.

It is more of a matte look Rudy, I would say a bit crispy too on my thick hair! Doesn't really work for me.

Hashtag, I bought the Wave Envy because I saw this video but sadly can't seem to get right! think maybe my hair is too thick! gives crimpy. How do you use yours, what style do you go for?

I didn't know Curly Girl had a book, would you recommend it wavy hair (lose S shape from ear down) and where can I buy it?

It has given me back my curls. Thought they had just gone post-DCs...but are back. I had been folllowing various bits of advice - some of it from this book but not consistently and sometimes mixing up two methods. Just stick with this now.

I have the wave envy. If I were to help it along with salt spray would I use the spray before or after waving it?

have you tried twisting your hair into a bun overnight when a bit damp? makes my almost shoulder length bob all wavy, almost curls!

I've just started watching mistresses and Alyssa Milano has a lovely wavy bob that I quite like.

I have thick, naturally wavy hair and have just had it cut off into a bob. For me it's SO much more low maintenance than long hair. I just plonk on a big of Kerastase oleo curl or John Frieda dream curls spray, twirl around my fingers and let it dry by itself.
