i've just washed my dry, coloured over and over and over, hair in this to give it a try and I am really impressed. It feels really clean and soft and smells fab - a bit Vosene-ish but not quite as medicinal. I think the mag only cost me £2.50 so its well worth a try :)

It's this one.

Safe with Brazilian blow dry?

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 01/09/2014 13:25

cjbk does it say somewhere it does not contain sodium chloride? can't find it.

victoryinthekitchen · 01/09/2014 14:19

must be good as it's sold out here :(

cjbk1 · 01/09/2014 15:09

Sorry eccles I was asking rather than stating, I can't see an ingredient list in that link so I'd have to see if the have the mag/shampoo in local tesco express x

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 01/09/2014 15:27

Ok cjbk1 online it just has loads of fluffy nice ingredients, no mention of any nasties so could well be. if you manange to get one and read the ingredients do let me know Smile sounds good from the reviews online and I am always on the hunt for my holy grail of hair products

MorrisZapp · 01/09/2014 17:02

It will almost certainly contain salt. Even the Brazilian keratin range contains salt now.

MrsMeow · 01/09/2014 19:18

DS is in the shower so can't look at the minute but there's a more in depth list of ingredients on the bottle itself if you want me to check for you cjbk1?

cjbk1 · 02/09/2014 07:57

Yes please meow

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 02/09/2014 16:45

well, bought the mag today and sadly it does contain sodium chloride Sad might try it anyway.

cjbk1 · 02/09/2014 18:15

Actually; I tried to check the ingredients in Morrison's today but I ripped the plastic wrapping so looked like I was trying to steal it so I hastily put it down!Blush then I ended up in tesco later and I could see sodium chloride listedHmm so I didn't bother...think my hair's getting 'immune' to Liz Earle so I'll maybe try the new waitrose one?

MrsMeow · 02/09/2014 19:46

Sorry for the delay, I fell asleep early last night and have been working all day today!

The shampoo has about three million ingredients! But looking for sodium I can see disodium laureth sulfosuccintate, sodium chloride and sodium benzoate. I didn't realise you should avoid this if you've had a brazilian blow dry?!

I used it again today and am still impressed. I try to wash my hair only every other day as it gets quite dry otherwise and it was still clean and fresh smelling this morning. Tempted to buy the full sized ones :)

thanks mrs sadly it's not having the same effect for me, tis ok but not wow.... the search goes on Grin I couldn't resist trying it just the once despite the sodium chloride.

MrsMeow · 02/09/2014 21:18

Ah that's a shame. I have a nightmare with hair products usually, I tried the 7 day straight stuff that everyone raved about and woke up with more frizz than usual!

I actually find that cheaper shampoo & conditioner works best for me usually - the Alberto Balsam ones in particular, about £1 each. Might be worth a go?

I tried this today and when I cane out of the shower DH said had I been using the dog shampoo? Shock It does smell a bit like it...

Chuffchuff · 02/09/2014 21:42

Cane? Grin

TheFillyjonk · 02/09/2014 21:44

Tangled my hair something awful. Then again, you only have to look at my hair and it's in knots so I'm not a reliable source. Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 03/09/2014 12:39

I bought the magazine today (miraculously in Sainsburys they had some which hadn't been plundered by the people who think "Free Gift" is just that. No , you need to buy the magazine.......)
Obv not cjbk1 Wink "It just fell apart in my hands ....."

cjbk1 · 03/09/2014 17:19

The wrapping was quite inflexible 70 and my thumb just 'popped' through it so I dropped it back onto shelf where no doubt someone else will half inch it later Shock
