Jo Malone cologne for men AND women....

It's actually just for men isn't it? I bought a box of miniatures on the plane with six fragrances in, no matter how I combine them I still smell like a bloke. They're just too strong and heavy.

What do you think?

Yes. I think their florals are very feminine (pear and freesia, rose, lime blossom are all lovely, imo, apart from nectarine which is just too sickly) but their other fragrances, amber woody ones seem quite "masculine", to me

Which ones have you got?

Grapefruit
Lime, basil and mandarin
Orange blossom
Blue Agava and Cacao
Pomegranate Noir
Amber and Lavender

I've tried them all but not enough that it can't be re-gifted to some deserving fellow at Christmas

My MIL loves the lime basil and mandarin, but I think it smells a bit of stock.

The others are quite male to me

They tried to sell me the lavender one, and I was like No no nooo! Nice scent. If you're a bloke!

What's tgf grapefruit like?

I've actually just bought Guerlain Aqua Allegoria mandarine Basilic as well and it's absolutely gorgeous. I love citrus fragrances so was hoping for something special from the JM lime, basil and manderin.

Perfect for a man sleepy got that heavy aftershave smell to it. If you like grapefruit though guerlain do a pampelmousse one in the same range as I mentioned above and that's lovely too.

Jo Malone's Dark Amber and Ginger Lily is lovely on(unisex).I've just bought a big bottle ( had no choice as the Intense only come in 100 mls bottles).I second the Lime Blossom which smells like the whole Linden flower complete with pollen.

The Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune is one of the best grapefruits around and is definitely worth sniffing.
