I wear a lot of black - what colour handbag

My outer clothes (shoes, coats, jackets) are almost all black. I have a few navy & monochrome tops and dresses as well.

my handbag needs replacing and I need one that is versatile and goes with pretty much everything. My old one was a light grey but I fancy a change in colour.
Would tan work or is this a nay in combination with black? What about navy?

Tan is classic. Cobalt blue would look fantastic.
