Opinions on this tartan cape/poncho?

Just wondering what everyone's opinions are on this? I'm currently a size 16 but losing weight nice and steadily so I don't want to invest in a particular size winter coat just yet. I'm torn between the navy and red or the black and white?

All opinions welcome!

I don't love either. But as I would go black and white because I wear alot of black.

Unfortunately, I think they are both utterly horrendous.

If you look good in that, you'll look better in something else!

I don't mean to be cruel but it looks like a giant picnic rug to me. Although I'm not a big fan of tartan clothes anyway (unless it's an actual kilt).

Also, well done on the weight loss but I think that style may possibly make you look bigger. I know that when I've been trying to lose weight voluminous things seem to add bulk rather than disguising it. Now that you're on the right path, show off your new figure! Something well cut and figure-skimming would be a much better option, I think.

Haha so glad I posted here!!

I saw it on a super skinny, glamourous blogger and just pictured myself exactly like that wearing it Grin

No it would actually be hideous on me as I generally need things quite fitted anyway to give me a shape. Hahaha phew, thanks all!!
