Hi, just wondering if anyone can help me out re appropriateness of this dress for a Sikh baby blessing at a temple.
I'm struggling to find a full length dress that covers shoulders too (in my price range) and doesn't have dropped back etc.
I've been to several occasions at Temple before, but can't fit into my pre pregnancy wardrobe unfortunately Blush
I would ask my friend who's baby's blessing it is but she's close to breakdown with all organisation etc!
Is the cut out section too much/inappropriate?
I'll obvs be wearing head scarf too.

thank you in advance!

No idea, sorry- but have alook on the Alexon site, as all dresses are £29 today (see other thread) and there's some maxi dresses left- here for example.

Are you a 12? This is lovely, if so.

Thank you, I'll pop over and have a look Smile

Looks fine. You could also wear trousers/ leggings with a long bum-covering tunic style top. Don't forget you need a scarf of some sort to cover your head otherwise they provide one Confused

Oo yes, that's very pretty, thank you, I'll have to sit down when DS is on bed for a proper look x

Thanks Ray, yes I will of course be wearing a head scarf, that's something I'm not short on! Will have a look for tunics too

I would think you'd need to cover your back and arms too.

tethersend · 29/08/2014 15:27

I don't think there'll be any dresses left on the Alexon site by bedtime- they're selling really fast due to the big discounts.

Arms (not shoulders) are fine afaik, and head scarf would cover my back too
