2 days/nights Nice next week - what to wear?!

Girly get together, hand luggage only. Not sure if I can cobble together suitable outfits from my paltry wardrobe. I'd like to look classy and sophisticated, my stuff is a bit more casual I think. (Any of my friends in real life on here don't laugh!!)

I'm in Nice now. It's a big city full of tourists and you actually see just about every style - or lack of it. It's certainly not packed with elegant Frenchwomen. Think more Brighton than St Tropez.

So unless you're off to a 5 star hotel I'd advise you to bring clothes which suit the sort of things you'll be doing and in which you'll feel comfortable with the friends you're going with.

Shorts or light trousers/ cropped jeans and top fine in day, with maybe a different top and/ or a dress to wear for going to restaurants for night.

It's pretty hot but not sweltering at moment, but I'm sure you'll check the forecast nearer the time to see, eg if any rain gear needed.
