Last week a received a mini boden catogue (my first)

I have never done boden before and nearly chucked it straight in the bin BUUT I couldn't resist a look... OMG there is some lovely girls stuff, I swear I could spend a fortune.. should I resist the urge of buying dd a whole raft of new clothes or should I take thep lunge and make my first ever Boden purchase.. will this be the first step on a slippery slope to Boden-ville?

what's it liek there?

I bought DD a dress and DS a top in the summer sale.

BUT have so far resisted buying them anything else - it's Next/Asda/Tesco stuff all the way otherwise.

Not necessarily a slippery slope in my case!!!!

You have self control, I liked loads of stuff and had to resist picking up the phone and spending a fortune on impulse.

Don't have self-control.

Just no money!!!!!

confine yourself to mini boden and shop only in the sale

you'll be fine

i promise

Mascaraohara · 21/09/2006 12:33

lol, me either!

I've always thought of Boden as middle class surbia wear, I like to be a bit more 'fringe' at this point I have to admit not knowing where that thought came from and having never seen a Boden catalogue before in my life! I am stereo typying terribly and I'm probably completely wrong.

Are they the rules tutter?

absolutely.

as decreed by tutter, at 12:31pm. today.

Mascaraohara · 21/09/2006 13:41

LOL.. so you think I should take the plunge then but with explicit boundries?

I have to admit to dressing ds in only Boden or Gap ! Boden boys stuff is great, but girls are so lucky as they have a huge range of things in there (however, don't care for the more grown-up styles for little girls)

Boden for children is great but I don't see the appeal of Boden womenswear, or Coast for that matter, it's all horribly dull.
