Need recommendations for new hair dryer

My current one is making that telltale smell that suggests it's going to give up the ghost. Need suggestions for a new one. Needs to be fairly lightweight. No need for diffuser or anything fancy. Have used the ones that spew out ions previously and quite liked them. It'll be used daily to dry my short ear length thick straight hair. Don't mind paying a bit extra if it's going to last a decent amount of time. Any suggestions?

I have this one it is small but really powerful and has good reviews. It drys my hair really quickly.

Thanks - will have a look. Situation becoming desperate. Current one started making a "screaming" noise this morning! Very unpleasant. Confused

I'm pretty sure it comes with a 5 year guarantee. It is quite noisy too (though it doesn't scream!) Grin

I just bought a parlux, I haven't used my straighteners since, it dries my hair in half the time and leaves it shinier, well worth the spends.
