Black leather pencil skirt? What with?

Have a new black leather pencil skirt which I'd like to wear for nights out (dinner etc). Any ideas of colours/tops/shoes to go with it?

Probably understated top half...silk/chiffon blouse. Heels

I'd suggest a silk blouse tucked in. I've tried to attach a picture but can't. Google 'leather pencil skirt blouse' and a pic of Angelina Jolie should come up, very sophisticated.

I like gold lurex knitwear with black leather skirts.

Banana republic have some nice fine knit lurex tops that they're styling in store with leather pencil skirts.

Once I can get in the size 4 may be some time I am purchasing the entire outfit.
