mens suits - need some urgent help!

DH is giving his sister away at her wedding soon. He's been instructed to buy a new suit which has to be sufficiently stylish, given the super-chic sophisticated do they are planning. Trouble is, DH slouches in tshirts and jeans and doesn't have any interest in clothes and doesn't have to wear suits for work. His sister wanted him in perhaps dark choc brown. Where would you go to find a suit that is cool and sharp and not excessively expensive - although my mil is paying. And, what colour shirt would you put under it given she wants dsomething rich and darkish. He's got to get it right or his life won't be worth living! He's going to look in Leeds. any ideas?

The Glasgow branch of this shop is fantastic, looks like they have a branch in Leeds.

Standing joke about Slaters is that you go in for a belt and come out with a full suit and matching shirts, they are very good salesmen. But very good at fitting and getting the right styles, good range of prices too.

right, not sure on size. He's about 6 ft, very slim, prob. medium. I don't know - a 32/34 type - not a clue, have I. Style wise, something quite cool. If he could afford Paul Smith, that's thekind of thing she'd like him to get. Thanks all.

Sounds terrible I know, but it's worth trying cheap high street suits that sell themselves on their sharpness and modernity rather than quality fabrics, and as he's slim he can get away with more than most.
Try TopMan, Burton and River Island, but my top pick would definitely be Zara.

Debenhams - I'm sure they had some good half price suits recently too, plus a really big range of shirts/ties etc.
