ideas for a contemporary silver necklace?

Hello. I'm about to have a significant birthday and would like a silver necklace. I like simple, contemporary designs but don't want anything too "trendy" that will go out of fashion. I quite like the "pebbly" natural kind of things: this is nice but maybe a bit ordinary:

and I quite like this but it's not silver:

Any ideas of designers I might like? I could go up to about £250.Thanks

Skye silver is lovely, and do simple pebbles style stuff, and celtic designs.

I got a lovely Kerry Seaton silver seed pod pendant when she did a range for Toast, don't think they're in stock any more but looks like does commissions: www.kerryseaton.com/jewellery/commissions/

How about a Tiffany's Bean: www.tiffany.co.uk/Shopping/Item.aspx?fromGrid=1&sku=25185137&mcat=148204&cid=287465&search_params=p+1-n+10000-c+287465-s+5-r+201323338+201288187-t+-ni+1-x+-lr+0-hr+-ri+-mi+-pp+1475+6&search=0&origin=browse&searchkeyword=

I have the smallest one and I love it. My mum even has one now after seeing mine - she wears it every single day. It comes in different sizes.

Try the Fine Gift Company - based in Covent Garden but does mail order too:

Look at the necklaces as well as pendants, they've got some lovely stuff.

Sheila Fleet is my favourite too! Her neolithic standing stones and tidal influenced pendants are just lovely.

Thanks everyone - have looked at Sheila Fleet and her stuff is very much my kind of thing - love the colours too. Of course I've now fallen in love with her most expensive necklets (over £700) but the pendants are gorgeous too.

I've just had a look at Sheila Fleet's website, she has some really beautiful things. As I was looking at the ocean influenced pendants they looked really familiar. I have a beautiful pendant that I bought from the Blue Wing Gallery in Cornwall a few years ago, it reminded me of the sea and lovely holidays we'd had there. It's one of Sheila's designs! I had no idea.

I want to buy more now!

OP, you could also try Annette Gabbedey -

OP glad you like. I came across her when wedding ring shopping. My DH was adamant he didn't want a ring until he saw one of her wedding bands with the viking runes on it...well...he was sold and has worn it ever since. I think he wishes he was a viking
