So... I've had a lovely year off following the birth of my DS but now it's time to go back to work and anything pre-baby no longer fits. I'm going to be working one to two days a week in a school so I need something smart(ish) that won't break the bank and won't matter if it gets paint splattered on it!
I was thinking along the lines of a pair of grey trousers that I can wear at home as well as work (in my head I can picture a soft grey that will look lovely with pastel jumpers and scarves - I feel the cold), but I'm not sure what style is best as it's been a while since I've dressed for work. Boot cut maybe? Wide leg? I'm a 10-12 with a mumtum. Also have no idea what sort of shoes or boots will be practical and fashionable (is there such a thing?!) I ideally only want to buy one pair for the winter. I also need a couple of very pastel tops/cardigans/jumpers. I'm a HOC winter if that helps.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Can't face trawling round the shops with the little people!
