I'm having my very long hair lobbed off this evening - any ideas for a new style please?

bangs - american for fringe If you trust your hairdresser ask them what they think will suit you, get them to show you pics. I usually tell mine what I don't want then let him do pretty much as he pleases (be brave!) and he always restyles it into something new and fresh which suits my face shape.

There was a thread this morning somewhere, I'll have a look.

madmarchhare · 20/09/2006 15:23

madmarchhare · 20/09/2006 15:25

obv a bit softer though

NotActuallyAMum · 20/09/2006 15:28

I'm with trinity on this! I very nearly had mine seriously chopped last year, I'm sooooo glad I didn't

Have you thought about having it layered instead to take some of the weight/hassle out of it? That's what my hairdresser suggested and it worked a treat

That's a good style because its the same cut but shows you different wants it can be worn.

Am liking Sndra Bullocks hair, V classy style, shows off good colour and condition IMO.

nailpolish · 20/09/2006 15:49

sandra bullock has lovely hair, go for that yorkshirelass

i fyou still feel its too heavy then you can try layers or a fringe

Oooo yes, if you have a small forehead that (sandra bullocks) would look good.
