winter planning, navy dress, brown boots, what colour tights?

OK, so I'm planning ahead....I have lots of short sleeve dresses that I am planning to wear for winter with long sleeve tops underneath, cardis, tights and boots. So far, all good. But my fave dress is this (better on than picture):

For winter I was thinking navy cardi, brown boots and thick tights. But what colour?
Nb: I'm not esp wacky, so no greens or yellow suggestions please.

I can't see the dress, but if it is navy and the cardi is, I would wear navy tights.

I think you could wear grey, purple, mustard. Well, I would.

I'd go for navy

(Saw a tip somewhere to sew red thread or something bright onto the top of the navy tight to distinguish between black in dark mornings - might be worth doing)

Grey, navy or maybe bright pink if you're feeling brave.

Don't think you just have to stick with navy, unless you're an air steward or something.

I have some burgundy tights I wear sometimes with blue and brown. I am not sure of grey tights and brown boots.

I wear magenta tight with my navy dress

But with grey, many or black footwear . And I have skinny legs

I think mustard woudl be good with black or navy footwear . If you like mustard

As in light to mid grey, not dark.

I like grey tights with brown boots.
