Has any body bought this? I love the idea of dd1 having a spotty winter coat - but I'm unsure about how warm it woudl be. If anybody has bought it (or similar in past years) I woudl love to hear what you think.

Thank you!

Is it the brown one? I think Cupcakes was considering buying it for her dd.

My dd has one, they look gorgeous and are very cosy, not waterproof though but would definitely recommend them.

I did buy the brown one. It's really lovely - although dd has taken some persuading, due to the colour. I've just bought her some sheepskin boots to match so she's going to be very warm and toasty.
It seems really warm and is nicely lined. The ribbed cuffs are good. I like it because it is machine washable.

Sorry - Hijack

Cupcakes where did you get your dd's sheepskin boots from. The Celtic place?

cupcakes · 20/09/2006 14:00

yes! Did you see they've got them for £25! I ordered them for ds and dd yesterday. They had them last year as well and are great. I also have them in black.

here's my thread about them

Thanks for the responses. That's decided. I'm going go buy one. Those sheepskin boots sound good....

I've ordered them in mocha...

Cupcakes, babyannabel, can I just double check before I place order - will this do as dd1's only winter coat? I can't afford to buy a warmer one once Autumn is over.

well, I've bought it as dd's only winter coat. She does have a fleece lined raincoat as well but the spotty coat is the one I intend her to be wearing in the snow.

Definitely placing the order. Thanks for reassurance Cupcakes. I know Mumsnet like us place orders through them, but I've found a 15% off (and free p+p) packing code. It's F256 if you need anything else from there. (feeling a bit naughty and unloyal for sharing that)

don't worry about it! I'm glad you found one - I ordered some stuff a while ago with a 'rival' 15% code too.
Hope you like it.
