is size 18 too fat for jeans ?

I am size 18 and the jeans i but always wear a hole at the top of my legs. I wear cheapo jeans (charity shop or tesco) . If i were to pay more would they last longer? OOrwould it happen in more expensive jeans?

To be honest the inseams of my jeans wear out over time. I've a 14 but have rubby legs. It would happen eventually in more expensive jeans. Do you like the cut of your jeans or are you looking to change? I wear Gap jeans that are about £38 ish if I remember correctly and they last ages.

Listen, we all get a bit of chub rub every now and again. Buy a proper pair of jeans and it shouldn't happen.

It's nothing to do with your size, it's the shape of your legs and the fact that they touch. I'm a size 10, but I don't have a gap between my thighs and so it happens to me.

A size 18 isn't too fat for jeans!

I agree with what was said up thread re. body shapes.

I think another problem is when ill-fitting jeans are bought, and this can happen whether you're an 18 or 8.

I actually buy jeans one size larger (usually) because I seem to get a 'muffin top' if I wear my usual size.

Definitely not too big! I'm a size 22 and I wear jeans! I love wearing them but you have to get a good fit.
