I have a possibly stupid question about jewellery

A colleague was wearing a very simple solid necklace the other day, the likes of which I need in my life!

She's on hols now, so I can't ask her where it was from, but I am struggling to find similar on the interweb.

I could best describe it the neck equivalent to a bangle.
I've searched collars, chokers, neck cuffs - but only limited results.
What are those called?
Any ideas?

Torc?

Hello,

Oh yes, kind of,.....
From the first couple of results on google images, I would say its something a bit daintier I'm looking for, and closing at the back of the neck rather than being open at the front.
Thanks for replying, it's closer than I have got alone through searching!

Not sure if you want gold or silver tone, but do you mean something like this?

Glitterkitten24 · 22/08/2014 22:51

Yes! That's more like what I am looking for!
I'm looking for silver, and my colleagues had lovely markings on it, almost like rune symbols, or some unusual alphabet.

None with runes or marking though, you might have to wait and ask your colleague Smile
