Just booked to have my colours done! What to expect?

I'm having it done next week, apparently there might be 2 other people there Shock am a bit apprehensive. Also worried it'll be a waste of £110 (I could buy a lot of stuff for £110...)

What should I expect?

Had mine done recently…like you I was apprehensive as others would be there but it was great - as well as a feeling of camaraderie and support, it made the whole thing easier to 'get', as you can see how good certain colours make other people look.

Basically the consultant explains all about colour and then you take turns at being 'draped' so you can see which season you are. You then get a much more detailed breakdown showing precisely which shades are best for you and how to wear them.

There was a bit about makeup too which I was less interested in, but it was still useful as I found out which colour of lipstick to wear (I never used to wear lipstick - now I do every day).

I too baulked at the price…

But I had an amazing day. I had got into such a rut with clothes, but now I am so much more confident choosing clothes that I know will make me look my best. Totally evangelical now :-)

Good luck, hope you enjoy your day as much as I did!

WOW! Amazing how the price has increased. Had mine done some years ago, tho, think it was about £25 then. I still have the little booklet-type thingy of fabric swatches and always carry it in my wallet. And on my bookshelves I've still got the 2 Carole Jackson books, Colour me beautiful' and 'Colour me beautiful make up book'. Glad to be reminded of them-time to re-read, I reckon.

I'm sure you'll have a really great day. Look forward to reading about it.
