Following the super dry thread. I love my dds super dry hoodie, but I wouldn't be mean and go out and get one.

Where can I get a hoodie that is lovely and thick and warm but doesn't have a brand imprinted on it?.

american apparel F457

HotPinkWeaselWearingLederhosen · 21/08/2014 09:26

OYBBK

Are you sure ds would object? Ds and I both wear SD hoodies. He has no objection to this and thinks it's quite cool as he often nicks my yellow one

TwelveLeggedWalk · 21/08/2014 09:27

Howies stuff is lovely and plain and pricey www.howies.co.uk/womens/womens-clothing/sweatshirts.html

OhYouBadBadKitten · 21/08/2014 10:06

She would def object, she mostly doesnt care about clothes but her hoodie is a prized possesion.

They look nice 12legged!! Exactly what I'm looking for, even if they are pricey. Wish they had a shop so I could try some on. What is the sizing like?

Mantaray at Debenhams always have a few hoodies and sone are fleece lined. I know Mantaray is often sneered at on here

ElephantsNeverForgive · 21/08/2014 10:30

Animal are cosy, but they are usually obviously branded. However, there are lots on 35/45y school gate mums here.

TwelveLeggedWalk · 21/08/2014 10:33

Sorry, not sure. I think we have some ancient men's t-shirts here but I've only ever coveted the stuff, not bought Grin

OhYouBadBadKitten · 21/08/2014 10:43

I dont mind being sneered at oldraver, as long as my hoodie is cosy and thick and keeps me warm Grin

Gap have 30% off today. You can get hoodies without the logo plastered across the front.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 21/08/2014 11:09

That would be ideal! Sadly I can't get to one until tomorrow. I quite like Gap.

Gap online the code is for today only

PinkGrapefruitAndCucumber · 21/08/2014 11:15

Oh I would be banned from this kind of embarrassing behaviour as well.
Hollister do a lovely pair of dark skinny jeans surprisingly, only £40, and that didn't seem like a bad price for jeans but I was not allowed to buy them.

I would like a nice maroon hoodie as I think it's my colour (Autumn) but I wouldn't like it too baggy. Don't want a logo either.

PinkGrapefruitAndCucumber · 21/08/2014 11:20

do you want a pull on one or a zip up the front one?

PinkGrapefruitAndCucumber · 21/08/2014 11:20

i'm tempted by this roxy one

itsbetterthanabox · 21/08/2014 11:21

I'm imagining my mum wearing hollister Blush
Next do some nice plain hoodies.

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 21/08/2014 11:22

I love the H&M ones. Prefer mens to womens.

PinkGrapefruitAndCucumber · 21/08/2014 11:24

what age are you itsbetterthanabox? my dd is 13 so she is in the middle of the hatched from an egg phase.

HotPinkWeaselWearingLederhosen · 21/08/2014 11:26

I have a bright red pair of Hollister jeans which I love, but they have button flys which are a pita. My friends dd helpfully pointed out they were not suitable for my elderly fingers Hmm I lent them to her and her mum found her screaming in rage at the last two buttons that despite repeated washing are stiff as fuck Grin

TinklyLittleLaugh · 21/08/2014 11:28

I have a red hoody from Mantaray. No one has ever sneered at me, (to my face anyway). I am rather fond of it actually.

I have a few of these and they are thick and warm. look great too. They're at great sale prices ATM. The kittiwake ones are my favourite, have the pink one on right now and going to pop into store later and get the navy one!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 21/08/2014 12:59

Zippy up please :)

I wouldn't have thought of mountain warehouse. I can get to one of those. I did tragically look in millets. Then I walked out again.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 21/08/2014 13:04

Like the look of the mountain warehouse pinnacle one. Nice sale price! Quite like the button detail on that Roxy one too.

I've got one I ordered from ASOS about five years ago and it has lasted so well - I don't think it is a branded one. It is fleece lined and so warm and comfortable.

I generally wear it over gym gear but also sometimes with skinnies and converse - I think it looks fine :)
