Mascara?

Anyone found the holy grail of mascaras? I don't like Benefit 'They're Real' before anyone mentions it. I was intrigued by blinc but some reviews said it really clumps your lashes together.

Any ideas?

I love YSL faux cils, but have noticed lately if I wear it with my contact lenses in, my eyes go dry and sore quickly. My cheapo Maybelline one doesn't do this Confused

Will maybe try the Baby Doll one, or Max Factor next.

Anyone else wear contacts and have issues with certain mascaras?

Max Factor 2000 Calorie. My all-time favourite.

Benefit's they're real is shit! Diorshow Waterproof mascara is MINDBLOWING.

When I was at my mum's she had a sample of a Chanel volumising mascara. I don't remember what it was called, but it was bloody amazing.

Yeah, I wear contacts and avoid the fibre ones and the tubing ones and ones that flake.
I really like benefit they're real apart from the fact that it smudges on me. And you have to be really careful not to put too much on or it clumps. But one or two coats can make my lashes look better than nearly all the others I've tried if I get it right. I've had Diorshow mascara before too and used to love it but it didn't separate my lashes as well as others I've tried since.

I got a Clinique one during bonus time and it was brilliant!

I second max factor 2000 calorie. DM and I have been using it forever and we both try other brands every few months but keep going back. It's just perfect! Good for everyday wear and can be layered up for night without clumping

I wear contacts and have never had issues.

I use Max Factor Masterpiece Max as well - I like the brush, it separates lashes and doesn't overload them or make them go all spidery. I used to wear contact lenses so preferred this one without the lashbuilding bits. My eyes go a bit watery with the ingredients in some mascaras, but not this one.

There is also a Benefit one with no bits in it which I quite like, mainly because it comes in a good brown colour, though the brush isn't quite so good as the MF one. I don't have any at the moment so can't give you the name.

Lancôme hypno. .... Wow

thoughtsbecomethings · 28/08/2014 00:40

That should read lancome

applecrumbleandcream · 28/08/2014 00:46

Yes to Lancome Hypnose..... absolutely the best mascara I've ever had.

Clinique Lash Power is my favourite. Long wearing, waterproof and it doesn't smudge.
