Have been doing curly girl for about a month. I wash my hair every other day, and so far the only reliable way I have found to get it looking decent and non-frizzy on day 2 is to soak it in the shower (but not wash it) then plop. After reading on here various people saying that they're able to revive their hair on a non-washing day by spraying it with some magic concoction, I decided to try it: I bought a spray bottle from the pound shop and put in some water mixed with conditioner, then sprayed my unwashed hair, twisted it into spirals round my fingers (which is what I do after washing), then let it dry. But whilst it's curly and isn't flat, I have a sort of halo of frizz.
So, those of you who are experts and the spray-induced non-wash-day hair revival, what exactly do you do to get it looking decent? Do you soak your hair with the spray, or just make it damp, and how do you avoid frizz? What is in your spray bottle? I've read some people use salt spray - what's the recipe for this, please?
Will greedily devour your tips ...
