I've just snapped my sandals - can anyone find something that fits this list of requirements??

My sandals didn't make it back from holiday. I HATE shoe shopping, can anyone point me in a not too frumpy direction (last purchase ended up from hotter, and I'm in my 30's.

So, the requirements:
Flat
walk miles in - not a thin leather sole, like lots of stuff has
NO toe post
need a strap round my heal
ideally no ankle strap
I'm a size 6 or 6.5, with wideish feet.

to wear with trousers, dresses, 3/4 trousers etc - basically my one and only pair of summer shoes.

I've seen [http://www.modalia.co.uk/yokono-ibiza-722-70751.html?claveListado=-1931484722&indiceListado=0 yokono]] but think I need to size down, and can't find a 39.

Any other suggestions?

Birkenstocks are the most comfortable sandals I have found to walk in. The style with the three thin straps looks a bit more,er,delicate compared to the Arizona ones.

Rieker do comfortable footwear, as does a brand called Earth Spirit. My sandals are Earth Spirit and have managed the unusual feat of being both comfortable and stylish.

Sorry, that link didn't work very well....

Birkenstocks with a back strap only come in the 2 strap version. Not convinced by them, tbh.

Reiker looks promising, thank-you. Will investigate further.

Bunbaker what earth spirit sandals do you have? Not inspired, but can only really find Amazon stockist in reasonable sizes.

Any suggestions on size 6 or 7 for 6.5 feet in any of these brands?

I have these ones , but am not sure if they are still available. I have had loads of compliments when wearing them.

addictedtosugar · 16/08/2014 16:05

They ARE nice. Must look harder at earth spirit!
What is the sizing like?

I have some earth spirit ones, these and they are really comfortable. Also have these which are less squishy underfoot but definitely my favourite of the two,

Bunbaker · 16/08/2014 16:14

Pretty much true to size I think. I bought them from ShoeZone last year, but I don't think they stock them any more. I take a size 6, but tend to size down for sandals. I don't buy footwear online as I need to try them on before buying. I must have awkward feet.

Ihateparties

I love the blue ones. What brand are they?

tethersend · 16/08/2014 16:20

Try esska

Ihateparties · 16/08/2014 16:20

They're fly ones, the style is called miel. I'm already concerned about what I'll do when they wear out!

FoxSticks · 16/08/2014 16:22

I have these hush puppies they are the comfiest sandals I have owned at look better in real life I think. I cant wear shoes with toe posts, and have pathetic fragile feet that always rub and blister but I've had no problems with these at all. I've lived in them this summer.

addictedtosugar · 16/08/2014 16:37

The blue ones are Fly London, style Meil.

What do folks think of earth spirit in black or Rieker?
