i have lost the eyelashes on my right eye - they arent growing back!

for some bizarre reason i seem to have gone eye bald but only on the right eye.
i have a massive gap where all my lashes have fallen out and are not regrowing.

i am under horrid amounts of stress at min but this has been like this for a good 8 weeks now - i know lashes take around 3 weeks to grow back so im now panicking slightly that im a baldy for life.

it looks weird!! ive no idea why they have fallen out - ive not used falsies and i dont pick at my mascara - i just noticed one day i seemed to be bald....and its stayed that way. i can disguise it with lashings of mascara on my remaining lashes and eyeliner but im getting a tad worried.

any ideas?

Revitalash (QVC sells it) was invented by a USA Opthamologist when his wife lost her eyelashes through illness,
It takes a while to work (I'd say 3 months for me but my eyelashes IRL are pitiful, I've seen good results)
My DSis lost eyelashes after being kicked in the eye (Martial Arts injury )

Try rubbing a little drop of castor oil along the lash line on the problematic eye and get Perfectil Skin Hair and Nails to see if that helps (3 for 2 at Boots a about £7 each). Try to reduce your stress, get enough sleep and eat well..lots of water.. Hope you feel better soon.
Just a word of warning re Revitalash - it can, apparently, in some users change the colour of the eye (blue eyes turning a strange brown etc) and can irritate some. Not trying to put you off, just wanted to make sure you knew the risks.

stye? Have your eyes been sore red or itchy?

This has happened to me a few times over the last year where a clump of lashes fell out and took ages to grow back. They did grow back eventually.
I changed the pad in my eyelash curler after sterilising it. I also bought new mascara in case it was a bacterial thing as it happened on both eyes. I put Vaseline on my lashes last thing at night, which my Grannie used to say encouraged them to grow. Hope this helps.
