Is it too summery to wear cords?

I bought a new pair of black cords and was wondering if they were ok to wear now. Actually, its fairly miserable today and not that warm. Its not freezing however. I always have in my mind that cords are Autumn winter and spring...but why should they be really as you wear jeans and they are just as thick. What do you think?

I wouldn't wear them yet but I wouldn't judge if I saw someone else wearing them.

Thanks. I dont think i would either..just curious if it was just me that feels they are a tad wintry for now.

I love cords Grin they're so New England/collegiate/warm and yes....autumnal type wear....but if you can wear them comfortably then why not.

I have a gorgeous plum pair which I'd love to wear now but I can't, I'd be sweltering and it's not even that hot here. American Apparel do great ones, really thick, not like those Gap 1969 ones (they look nice too but they're quite thin).

I'm wearing a brown pair right now!
