This skirt for a size 16?

Topshop

I wear tube skirts to work pretty much every day, but they are all plain. I quite like the pattern though and would team it with a plain black V neck jumper with a coloured vest underneath (work in a school so try to minimise the cleavage!).

Can a size 16 wear a pattern on their bottom half and look ok?

Personally, I wouldn't wear it for work. I think it'd suit a size 16 though. Go for it!

I'm a 14 and I'd so wear this. It's fabby. Again not sure I'd wear it for work but then I work in a very casual workplace

Depends on your shape more than your size. I'm a 16 and a 5'10 almost hourglass (in control tights at least!) and is wear it. Prob not for work though.

If you were pear shaped the pattern on the bottom probably wouldn't be too flattering.

Yup I'd wear it and would feel great!

I don't see a problem with wearing that for work. It would look great with the black jumper and white vest/shirt.

I'm a primary teacher - it would be OK at my school. I'm an hourglass, so I think I might go with it!

Thank you so much for giving me the confidence to bite the bullet Smile
