Men's trousers for the generous of thigh?

DBIL is up, and during an enthusiastic game of bowling managed to split his one decent pair of casual trousers.

He hates shopping, and is a rugby player so has huge thighs which makes grabbing a pair for him impossible.

So, wise ladies of MNet, which high street shop will do cheap-ish trousers for large thighs?

I'll bump for you as I have a rugby-playing 19yo DS who regularly splits kecks.
I know he's discovered Levi 501 Jeans but they're not what you'd call cheap. It's hard because obviously the young lads' shops are generally aimed at the skinnier end of the spectrum and he hates Jackamo.

rugby playing dp has this problem too. he seems to manage to get jeans that fit from next

Oh and he's had White stuff chinos which fit but he said were 'old men's trousers.'

Mmmn. I know DH struggles with White Stuff sizing, so DBIL is scuppered there.

YY to the expense of "good" jeans though. Jacamo is also the pits in our house.

Bugger. May have to be a "drag round M&S".

My large thighed Dh buys his trousers and jeans from Gant.
They can be a bit pricey but are very good quality and they have quite good sales.

There's also an outlet store at Gunwharf Quays, if you can get to Portsmouth!

And he also used to buy Marlboro Classics stuff, but they are difficult to find these days.

DS has quite chunky thighs & he likes Fatface chinos & their looser jeans.

Jessy Marlborough classics has rebranded itself as MCS I think. I couldn't see any UK suppliers on their website.
