Looking for unusual jewellery, not expensive

I can never find jewellery I like. I'd class myself as slightly hippy, rock sort of style, although tend to wear jeans and Ts, nothing fussy, so would love some jewellery to set it off, I'm thinking leather and silver sort of stuff. I hate bling.

However, I'm on a tight budget.

I've looked on ebay but don't really know how to narrow down the search.

Any ideas?

how budgety is budget!?

i like sabine lenz "enibas" and I love Alex Monroe and I love Alan Ardiff. These are all a mixture of silver and gold and would be a splurge on your birthday rather than a month's salary or even a quarter of that!

Budget is low, definitely not hundreds.

How low? These are lovely (I think), unusual and may suit your style?

tethersend · 10/08/2014 12:59

Haha, I was just going to recommend my friend Emma's jewellery, and VeryLittle has beat me to it Grin

I was going to recommend the Hairy Growler too. Beautiful, unique, recycled jewellery. I met him at a festival recently and he was lovely too.

Another fan of Emma Ware here. Bought a great necklace last year from her, following Tethers 's recommendation on here.
Fancy the Brighton one next .

Some lovely things Smile A bit too expensive at the moment, but will bear in mind for birthday.

i love the harry growler leaves & acorn earrings. Beautiful. They're not too big are they?

Have you tried looking on etsy? I justf put leather jewellery in the search box, if you spot something you like, click on it and go to the sellers shop as chances are you will like their other stuff
www.etsy.com/search/handmade?q=leather+jewellery&order=most_relevant&view_type=list&ship_to=US

Also my friends stuff is unusual Smile

Cadenza has nice stuff.

I'm not sure I could buy from a site called hairy growler

Greengardenpixie · 10/08/2014 17:45

If you want super cheap, Primark and h+m have some great stuff. You need to weed through the dross though.
