I need some actual wide fitting shoes

New Look and Primark have become so narrow fitting that my feet splay over the sides- lovely!

I can't find any nice wide fitting shoes-I'm in my 20's, with a size 8.
Am off on a UK holiday and need something other than Golddigga flip flops to wear.

Am on a smallish budget but willing to fork out if I can get some shoes that fit lovely

I get shoes from Next. They do wide and extra wide fit, but you have to get them from the directory.

Obviously lots of hideous options in those brands but there might be the odd gem!

Ooh Next is a good call, I managed to get a pair of lovely wide fit boots there ages ago.

I'll take any style really, I'd like a mid heel shoe, either closed or a sandal and some flats too. Black shoes are what I'd normally go for but would quite like a bright colour in something.

Really I just need some non flip flop shoes.

I'm an 8 and I find matalan really wide in the normal fitting and they sell wide fit as well I have to go down a size.

Excellent ideas thank you all, the Brantano here is really rubbish, they only have the older persons comfy wide fit shoe, but I'll have a look in Evans when I next go up to the city.

New Looks wide fit are just way too small, unless it's their pumps, which I've found are huge. Stupid sizing.
