Nude nail varnish on toes?

Having a dilemma! Have painted finger nails with Nails inc Basil Street nude. Toes are currently bare, and was going to match to fingers but the nude is really close to my skin colour.
Will I look like I have a fungal nail infection?
Shall I just not match and wear a bright/summery colour on toes?
is this the most pathetic thread ever?

I like matching sets, so I'd go with the nude and see how you like it.

I've got nasty orange stains on my toenails from a pedicure back in May… restricting my colour choices until it grows out. The pedicure was amazing and lasted for ever, but the down side is the lingering colour! Currently wearing a rather lovely see-through pink, but it definitely isn't concealing the orange properly, dammit.

The nude is a bit of a yellowy one, and I'm tanned so it's v similar to skin. Probably over thinking it to be honest.

Always nude/pale pink on fingers and bright/dark on toes.

I would put a colour on toes.

I'd wack a bright colour on. I think nude colours on toes makes them look like chipolatas.

Generally you are 'not supposed' to wear the same colour on fingers and toes. But if you like it then do it.

I'd go for a coral colour or similar on toes.

I generally match toes and fingers, but usually with brighter colours for summer/pastels for spring.
Think I will go for coral, got a lovely Bourjois one.

I do think some nudes on toes can look like there's something wrong with you. If it's too grey it can look like you've lost the blood supply to your feet :) A warmer nude is better or a shimmery cream colour that is more noticeably different from your skin.

Agree brights are better all in all.

brighter on toes, my finger nails are usually quite pale colours, or French tips etc, but go a bit wilder on toes, especially in the summer when they are seen. I had hot pink this morning, but finger nails are French tipped as couldn't decide on a colour.

I like nude on hands but generally think a colour looks better on toes pink or coral look nice but then I don't like matching colour really anyway

No to nude toes - they look like mini condoms!

A rich dark brown/burgandy looks expensive and groomed if you find brights a bit garish.

I like my finger nails to look natural but I think toe nails look better when painted bright and bold. Mine are red at the moment which looks lovely, it would hideous on my finger nails though
