Yes, I know I'm not 6 years old but I was messing about with nail polish the other day and ended up painting my nails with a couple of coats of glittery Revlon nail polish.

A day or so later I tried to take it off with Cutex remover (on a cotton wool pad)but it didn't budge. I have been picking it off but progress is slow. My DS had glitter on his testicles this morning when I changed his nappy this morning so the glitter is loosening but literally getting everywhere Grin

Has anyone had a similar problem and been able to find a way to remove the super welding shit off their nails?!

This is what you need to do... Soak some cotton wool in polish remover. Put it on the nail. Grab a square of foil Snd wrap it round the end of your finger. Leave for 10 minutes and the polish will wipe off. If it doesn't wrap it again and give 5 more mins.

I had this problem. I got it off by filling the cap of the bottle with nail varnish remover and soaking the tip of my finger in it for a few minutes. Good luck.

not

Gently buff your nails, soak a cotton wool ball in nail polish remover, one with acetone, place the cotton wool ball on your finger tip and wrap with tin foil to keep in place.

It will come off. You just have to soak it for a bit.

Thank you for your replies. Will just have to persevere!

I spent a day trying to remove OPI "Rainbow Connection" from my nails ( It looked lovely when applied but came off in chunks , but was a nightmare to remove the rest)

BTW, don't use the cotton pad 'n'foil on your DS bollocks glitter Wink

Pure acetone, either soaking or tinfoil method will shift quicker than a 'remover'

If you do want to do it again, I've heard (although not yet tried) that you can paint your nails in PVA glue first, and then the glitter polish, and just peel it off when you're done?
