VItalumiere - what colour do you have?

I have just been ' colour matched' and gone from 40 'beige' to 30 'cendre" even though i think cendre is paler and I am more tanned atm.

I am sure the colour descriptors have changed - does anyone else feel they have?

I use the aqua version, bought it about 2 months ago. Can't say I've noticed a difference in the colours. I wear the 20. Prob should get the 30 for summer.

Some time a go a friend had a make up lesson from a fairly famous make up artist. She said we are all wearing too dark foundation, and as a rough guide said shades 1 or 2 for most Caucasian North-Western European folk, shade 3 was for oriental skin! This was a general rule, not brand specific and could be a load of bollocks for all I know.

i am sure she is right. Its when you see a photo and you look a bit odd - even if it is too dark it can look chalky ( and thats even with the lovely lustrous sheen it gives imo)

When did you buy your last one Pitt? Would you chance bringing it back and asking them and enduring the Chanel 'we never do anything wrong' sneer?

They changed colours when they went to aqua.

i only bought it yesterday and she was happy to swap. I quite like it, I think
