What makes the Aveda Pure Abundance range smell like that?

Just got my hair cut and the stylist used Pure Abundance Style Prep on it, and it smells BEAUTIFUL. I didn't want to ask to see the ingredients as I didn't want to buy it right now, but does anyone know what essential oils/other ingredients might be in it and if there are any perfumes that might smell like that? (Only thing I could tell was something that smelled like mint and.a kind of herby floral scent - your general Aveda-y smell!)

I've seen the scent described as jasmine, peppermint and ylang ylang. I have no idea what perfumes have those notes.

Thanks! Will have a search on Fragrantica and see if anything possible turns up with those notes.

I think there might be some rosemary in there too. Hope you find something!

Thank you! There seem to be about three perfumes that have all these notes, but they all look like they're no longer available, so I'll maybe have a play around with essential oils and see what I come up with.

Great! Have just seen that aveda do fragrances. I wonder of any of these would fit the billwww.aveda.co.uk/products/5349/Pure-FumeTM/Personal-Aromas/index.tmpl

I kind of have a bit of a problem buying from Aveda (although clearly not enough to avoid their hair products when I get my haircut Blush), as they're owned by Estee Lauder, who sell in China, so their products are required to be tested on animals. That means that it's probably easier to muck around with oils, and then I can make the whole house stink like a hippy shop smell delightful too. Grin
