I loved H&M kids stuff last autumn...is their collection really cool again this year does anyone know?

Gap looks boring...where can I get bright, fun stuff for girls age 6/7?

No idea, I haven't found anything, just ugly murky colours from what I've seen like maroon and khaki and dirty yellow.

Ugh who thinks up this stuff?! I was even thinking about sewing up a couple of dresses myself and I'm not at all the sewing type. Mind you, where do you find decent material then?

I saw some gorgeous stuff in M&S the other day.

I've never come across Pumpkin Patch before - what are the clothes like size wise? dd is 4 - but she is a little - how do I put it - tubby around the waist.

Pumpkin Patch looked lovely for little girls but not so good for 7 year olds - and there is no store near me . Vertbaudet looked less funky and colourful than usual this year in the age range I need .

You were right, H&M came up trumps again! Just bought some fabulous cat print stuff, groovy tights and bolero cardigans for dd. She'll love 'em - once it actually gets cold enough to put away the summer dresses!
