Any recommendations for wide fit size 9 ballet pumps?

I'm driving myself up the wall trying to find a relatively inexpensive pair of wide fit (at least EEE fitting), size 9 black ballet pumps.

My local New Look rarely have any size 9, there website isn't much better. I've tried Debenhams, Evans, Simply Be and Clarks.

I have a really tight budget and they're either too expensive, have not so good reviews or they don't have my size. I would like a pair for work because I'm sick of wearing black boots. The pair I have at the moment are a size too small and I have blisters and the beginning of a bunion. I'm on my feet all day so I'd like something comfy but NOT frumpy, does this even exist?!!

Does anyone have any recommendations of any shops or websites I might be able to find something? I'm so so envious of people who have nice, normal, non-clown sized feet :(

Long tall sally?

Jumblebee · 03/08/2014 21:08

Thanks duchess, I've never heard of that company before! I had a look, do you know if their shoes are wider fitting? I can't see any mention of it on the website. They're a little expensive but I fear that all wide fit shoes will be because they're not in demand so much Confused

43 or 42?

43 shoes are hard to come by. 42s easier.

Doc martens do some nice flats, not all clumpy bovver shoes in a 43.

The odd thing from here is ok, but quality usually isn't great www.barratts.co.uk/

I have wide feet and always wear these

They stretch a fair bit, mine are now quite sloppy on my feet but I like them like that, when they wear out I buy a new pair, few times a year as I wear them in and out in all weathers haha.
The 9 is showing out of stock but thats online, in stores they probably have them, ring round and ask all your local stores.

These are nice. Simply Be do loads of nice shoes in different widths. I've had some lovely loafers from there.

Land 's End
But cheap, but often reduced and last for years.

BoreOfWhabylon · 03/08/2014 21:25

These aren't cheap but they will last and last, are v good quality and I'm pretty sure extra-wide will be wide enough. Free returns too

Jumblebee · 03/08/2014 21:26

Ilovemydog I did see those ones and they are perfect, the low rating put me off though Hmm I think I may just go for them because I'm getting desperate!

They would definitely have to be a 43 (9), my feet won't normally fit in an 8. I squashed them into an 8 EEE boot and have the blisters to show for it Hmm

Vegancow I didn't even know asda did size 9 shoes, my MIL works there so I'll ask her to keep an eye out for some for me, thanks Smile

or these in an eee or eeeee even

Ilovemydogandmydoglovesme · 03/08/2014 21:27

Simply Be do loads of styles, there's bound to be something you like. I'm a 42E and I find their sizing bang on.

Jumblebee · 03/08/2014 21:28

BoreOf those shoes look perfect, the little heel would stop my feet being so sore at the end of the day. Unfortunately I don't have that much money all in one go. I think I need a pair to get me through until I can save up a bit each week and then invest in a good pair. I probably end up spending more on cheap, crap shoes in the long term!

I have really wide feet, generally wear hotters. Most comfortable shoes I have ever worn

BikeRunSki · 03/08/2014 21:30

land's End not specifically wide, but big on me and I am an e.

OatcakeCravings · 03/08/2014 21:30

Next do wide and extra wide fitting shoes

BoreOfWhabylon · 03/08/2014 21:32

Oh, I know all about spending £££'s on cheap, crap shoes.

I have huge, very wide feet and generally stick to Hotter these days. Some of the styles are rather 'old lady' but some are not too bad at all, I think.

WildBillfemale · 04/08/2014 08:28

NEXT ladies shoes go up to 43 and they do wide fit ballet flats.........

Hebburnisaplaceonearth · 04/08/2014 08:53

Hush puppies janessa are quite wide and go beyond a 9
