boden portland place dress...can I wear it for a September wedding

Help. I am stylistically challenged. 5ft 7. Size 16 top and 14 bottom with thunder thighs but slimish hips. Off to a September wedding in the lakes which may take place outside. Wedding theme is blue. Can I wear the blue Bowden portland place dress with a wrap, heels and clutch to a.wedding?
