I have some slight greys coming through at the front so have been dying my hair for the last year or so. It's been a few months since i've done it, so it's now got that brassy colour thing going on on the length, with darker roots. - i always choose colours close to my natural colour and always go for the cooler ash tones. However, it always ends up brassy as the colour fades.
I can't decide whether to persevere and keep growing it out or redye it. I'm really hating the brassy colour now but feel like i'll be stuck with having to dye it more frequently to avoid it if i give in and colour it again.
Anybody achieve glossy brown hair through dying it?? Any advice gratefully received!
