Outfit for wedding evening do that can be successfully 'reused'

I'd like to buy something fairly plain that I can also use for other occasions eg not too smart dinner out or wear again with very different accessories to look 'different'. I'm thinking a dress but open to any ideas. Perhaps top would be good as could dress down with jeans or up with skirt?
I'm size 14, best bits are medium sized boobs and defined waist, worst bits big legs and saggy tummy. I go for warm (autumn) colours: brown, green etc.

What's your budget?

JenniMoo · 01/08/2014 17:08

£100 as a max for clothes I think, but shoes etc could be over that.

Could you do a 12? This is lovely.

I have the Joy Zola dress in navy (not sure if it's still in the sale) which I love. They have it in prints and red at the minute. I've a similar figure to you I think (maybe a bigger bust) and have found it really flattering, though I belt it to define my waist a bit more. So far has been worn to a wedding, family party, work but also round the house/day to day stuff - it's pretty easy to dress up or down (heels, metallic belt, big jewellery for up, sandals, cardi for down).

I quite like this and it would dress up or down well.

green

I love the shape of the joy Zola but not sure the colours are right for me.
The boden one looks nice too but again, colours and patterns aren't quite right.
