I've bought several pairs of these this summer, from various suppliers, next, M&S, boden, all made the same way with a bit of elastic looped through the buckle, all virtually identical in style if not in price. I've had 2 pairs snap at the elastic the second time of wearing, just wondering if anyone else has had the same, or if it's me, maybe I walk funny Confused

Just me then. I must have an odd gait! Grin

I find they hurt my toes too much to bother with.

This happened to my El Naturalista pair after a few wears too. The local cobblers fixed them for £15 (added stronger elastic to both shoes) and so far so good.

What a good idea msfreud, I hadn't thought of it, was thinking I would just have to take them back and it's too late in the season for replacements. Off to the cobblers tomorrow!
