Dress me for dad's funeral

Some of you may have read my dad died on Tuesday, the day before however I had to leave his bedside as my mam was rushed into surgery with severe septic shock and has been critical in intensive care since

I don't have the time or energy to go shopping but want to feel ok at funeral

I'm an apple with flabby belly size 14/16

Can anyone recommend anything that should flatter than I can just order

My dad having fairly alternative funeral so doesn't necessarily need to be black

do you have an outfit that your dad liked, or that he gave you, or that makes you think of a happy time with him? Saves the effort of shopping.

I think a knee length laced Skirt and a a Top with layers will look good on you, Do wear a good Hat with this please

I like next for dresses. You can get them delivered to store to make sure they are in stock. Nobody will be judging what you wear.

Agree with getting a couple delivered from the same place so you can send back. I know you said not necessarily black but hard to know what other colours suit you so hw about any of these (should be OK for an apple shape):

Those are all dresses, but if you are more comfortable in trousers and a top that would be fine too.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I wore this to a funeral earlier this week. I felt I was appropriately covered up but wasn't too hot because the lace sleeves allowed airflow. It's in the sale too!
